Check-in took a while due to only one staff member at the reception. The room had a great air conditioning system, which was a real plus in Chennai's heat. I enjoyed the variety of food options nearby, especially the restaurants. The location made it easy to explore the area. However, I found it disappointing that there were no lockers in the room for valuables despite instructions suggesting otherwise. I noticed a few roaches in the bathroom on the last day, which was unsettling, especially for the price paid. The toiletries provided were also below standard. Late checkout wasn't possible, which is frustrating for those with later flights. Overall, the issues with cleanliness and lack of amenities took away from what could have been a more enjoyable stay.

The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to book Ubers for nights out. It's just opposite a lovely garden, providing a nice view. We appreciated the polite and helpful staff at the restaurant, who assisted us with a good breakfast even when it wasn't included in our stay.
